St. George Marathon
St. George drops more than 2,500 feet from start to finish across the high Utah desert, giving runners one of the most reliably fast point-to-point courses in the country. The scenery is stark and open, and the course asks you to run smart before it lets you run fast.

Race-Day Weather
Expect a cold start, often in the high 30s up at the corrals in the desert. Bring a throwaway layer or an old hoodie you don't mind leaving on the side of the road. By the time you're into the back half, temperatures climb into the 60s and can push 70 by mid-morning. The drier air helps, but the warming trend is real. Start hydrating early and don't wait until you feel warm to take it seriously.
Entry
Registration is first-come, first-served with a 5,000-runner marathon cap. Online registration opens April 1, 2026 at 6:00 AM MDT and closes when cap is reached or on August 31, whichever comes first.
