Late October in Venice runs cool and damp. You'll likely start in the mid-40s, which is comfortable for racing, but bring a throwaway layer for the corral because the wait can get cold. By the finish it may only be in the mid-50s, so you're racing in good conditions for most of the day. Rain is a real possibility, and wet cobblestones in the final Venice miles get slippery. Check the forecast the day before and plan your footwear accordingly.
Entry
Open registration online via Endu platform for non-competitive runners with liability waiver. Competitive entry requires FIDAL membership or foreign sports federation affiliation. Multiple entry fee tiers based on registration date.
