St. Jude Memphis Marathon
The St. Jude Memphis Marathon sends you through December streets with a cause at your back and a qualifying time within reach. It is honest work, and every mile means something.

The Course
Race-Day Weather
Early December in Memphis means a cold start, often in the upper 30s, and you'll want throwaway layers for the corral. You'll warm into it as the miles go on, with midday temps usually settling in the low-to-mid 50s. That's a genuinely good window for running fast, as long as you dress for the gun rather than mile 20. Wind can be a factor on exposed stretches, so check the forecast the day before and plan accordingly.
Entry
Registration offers two pathways: St. Jude Heroes with fundraising commitment (Bronze through Elite levels, April 1-June 2) and General registration without mandatory fundraising (June 3 until sold out). All participants receive fundraising tools and pages; fundraising strongly encouraged but not required for general participants.

Most travelling runners fly into LIT, about 127 miles from the start, a longer haul by rideshare or transit, roughly a 201-minute trip. Stay close to the start in Memphis, TN so you're not fighting race-morning closures and transit on tired legs. Arrive a day early to clear the expo and bib pickup, and build in buffer for gear-check and corral entry.
