Prague Marathon
Prague's marathon loops through cobblestone squares, along the river, and past centuries-old bridges in the heart of the city. It's a fast course with real history underfoot and a crowd that shows up.

Race-Day Weather
Early May in Prague tends to be cool and pleasant at the gun, typically in the upper 40s, which is about as good as marathon weather gets. You'll warm up fast once you're moving, so a throwaway layer for the corral is usually enough. By the back half of the race temperatures can climb into the high 50s, which is manageable but worth tracking if you're chasing a time. Rain is possible, and the cobblestone sections get slippery when wet, so don't ignore the forecast the night before.
Entry
Open registration on first-come, first-served basis through RunCzech. No lottery system. Capacity capped at 10,600 runners. Charity entries available through partner organizations.
