Long Island Marathon
The Long Island Marathon runs through Eisenhower Park on a largely flat multi-loop course that rewards patient, even-effort racing. It's a low-key field with a genuine shot at a PR or a Boston qualifier.

Race-Day Weather
Early May on Long Island can feel like two different races depending on the year. Mornings often start cool and crisp, which is great for the gun, but by midday you might be running in the low 60s with some humidity creeping in. It's generally a decent window for fast racing, but it's not guaranteed cold. Have a throwaway layer for the corral and don't bank on a perfectly cool finish. If it comes up warm, hydrate from mile one.
Entry
