Albuquerque Marathon
The Albuquerque Marathon runs a flat loop course sitting at 5,000 feet above sea level, where the thin air makes every mile feel a little different than you expect. It is a quiet, honest race that rewards patience and preparation.

Race-Day Weather
April in Albuquerque means cold mornings and warm afternoons. The start will feel sharp, so bring a throwaway layer for the corral. Once you get moving you will warm up fast, and by the back half of the race the sun is usually out and temperatures have climbed into the mid-60s. That late-race warmth combined with altitude is the thing to plan around. Stay on top of hydration from the first aid station, not just when you feel thirsty.
Entry
Open registration available at www.irunfit.org and RunSignup. Registration remains open until race capacity is reached.
