Omaha Marathon
The Omaha Marathon winds through the heart of the city and along the Missouri River, putting a net uphill course in front of runners who know what they signed up for. Small field, real race, no frills.

Race-Day Weather
Late September in Omaha means you could get a perfect cool morning or a reminder that the Great Plains does what it wants. The morning start tends to be comfortable, but afternoon warmth can creep up on you if the race runs longer. That 20-degree swing between low and high is real, so don't overdress for the corral and don't underestimate the back half if the sun comes out. Hydrate from mile one. A coin-flip day is always possible, but most years the conditions are manageable if you pace for the heat and don't bank on a cool finish.
Entry
The Omaha Marathon is an open registration event organized by the Omaha Running Club. Prices increase as the event date approaches, so early registration is recommended for the best rates. Military and ORC member discounts available.
