Race-Day Weather
Late September in Bellingham typically means a cool morning at the gun that warms into the mid-60s by the time you finish. That is a solid window for a fast race. The start will feel chilly enough that you might want a throwaway layer, but you will warm out of it by mile four or five. The back half can be exposed along the bay, so if there is a wind, you will feel it. Overall, conditions usually cooperate here. Most years this is a fast-weather day.
Entry
The Bellingham Bay Marathon uses open registration with rolling entry fees. Registration opens with a $100 entry fee and increases in stages leading to race day (final price $155). Register via RunSignup platform at any time before the race.
