Race-Day Weather
Mid-August in Anchorage is about as cooperative as marathon weather gets. You're looking at a cool start in the low 50s and a high that typically stays in the mid-60s. That is a genuine running-weather window, and most people will warm out of any chill within the first few miles. Wind and overcast skies are common, so don't assume sun. The temperatures alone won't slow you down, but don't skip layers at the start if you're standing around in the corral.
Entry
Open registration with tiered pricing. Early bird rates available through December 31, 2025. In-person registration available August 15-16 at bib pickup. No race day registration for Sunday races.
