Savannah Marathon
The Savannah Marathon runs a loop course on Skidaway Island, where sea-level terrain and mild winter temperatures give you a flat, honest effort through Georgia's coastal landscape.

Race-Day Weather
February in Savannah means a cold start and a warmer finish. The morning gun can feel genuinely chilly, so bring a throwaway layer for the corral. By the back half of the race the temperature climbs into the mid-60s, which is comfortable but worth accounting for in your pacing. Humidity is usually manageable this time of year. Most days favor a decent effort, but the gap between the low and high means you'll feel like you're racing two different days. Start conservative and let the warmth come to you.
Entry
The Savannah Marathon is not offering the full marathon distance in 2027; only half marathon and 5K are scheduled. Last full marathon was February 2026.
