Newport Marathon (Wales)
Newport's loop course along the South Wales riverfront keeps things honest: net flat, well-organised, and open entry means anyone can line up and chase a time.

Race-Day Weather
Mid-April in Newport means cool and often overcast. The start will feel cold enough that you'll want a throwaway layer for the corral, but you'll warm into it by mile four or five. The bigger variable is wind. The riverfront sections are exposed, and a headwind on a flat course costs more than people expect. If you get a calm day, you're set up for a fast one. If the breeze picks up, respect it early and don't let it wreck your second half.
Entry
Open entry available via Let's Do This platform with Launch Entry Offer and Early Bird pricing. Charity entry available through official charity partners including Mind in Gwent.
